The device emulates the Ford ESCL unit, compatible with Ford CD4 cars (Mondeo, S-Max Galaxy, etc.) from 2014 onwards.

It is a Plug & Play emulator, that is, it does not require any programming.

ELV is an intrinsic mechanical failure of the steering column lock. The occurrence of a fault is not dependent on any other fault.
In the event of a breakdown, even if there is no problem with the key, the vehicle cannot be started because the ELV steering column lock will not be activated.

Emulator installation instructions:
Turn off the ignition.
Connect the connector to the emulator socket.
SCL only works when it receives an open and close command.
Press the start button, the green LED should light up. If the red LED flashes, it indicates an error that you need to fix with a diagnostic tool, or you can reset the car by connecting and reinserting the battery until the green LED light comes on.

Diode designation:
Red SCL – locked position
Green SCL – unlocked position
